Hi,

I was wondering about which are the best practices to close a KuneriLite app. I saw the command:

loadVariables("http://127.0.0.1:1001/Basic/uldl?klCommand=exit", "");

to close all pending transfers. But, are there any other commands to call to be sure that KuneriLite shuts down correctly?

I ask this because, after closing an app that does file Upload, the app icon remains in the active apps list (so, visible in S60 task manager) for various seconds, and it seems impossible to close it.

Thanks,
Pit

Hi Pit,

KuneriLite always shuts down when the main application is closed.
If there is loadVariable request ongoing, application cannot be closed before response is received. Sometimes response
takes longer, for e.g. connecting to server might take several seconds. It is a part of Flash Lite Player functionality, that's why you may see icon in task manager some seconds, before application is completely closed.

Sum up: there is no need to worry of closing KL, it is done in the background.

Best,
Jukka

EDIT: One correction: If connecting is ongoing, exiting of KL takes longer than usual and it is not about FL player. We'll check out if that could be improved.
