Hi,

I tried the KuneriLite setup test, it fails at the processing step because of a wrong path. I checked the test.bat file with no luck.

Code:
Projects\KuneriLiteTest\KuneriLiteTest.pkg is successfully created.
Link to notes file Projects\KuneriLiteTest\release.txt is successfully added into
 Projects\KuneriLiteTest\KuneriLiteTest.pkg.

Hi Daimonji,

Welcome to Kuneri Forums!

Looks like there is a problem in setup environment. Did you follow all steps in "Prepare your PC for KuneriLite" menu and install requirements? Did you use any custom installation paths? Can you provide more details about your installations?

Thanks,

Ugur.-

I followed almost every step of the "Prepare your PC for KuneriLite" option, except for the installation of the S60-SDK-0616-3.0-mr.3.749 file. I tried to install it but it complains that Perl 5.6.1 is not properly installed. However ActivePerl version 5.8.8 is installed (it failed earlier when ActivePerl wasn't installed yet) and perl.exe is on the path and accessible at the command line.

EDIT: After a reboot, it goes further but it fails, here is the end of the log:
Code:
Processing........The system cannot find the path specified.

I don't use any custom installation path, perl and Symbian C++ SDK are installed in a root folder, the rest is in the Program Files folder.

Ok, I think problem is the SDK installation. All steps have to be completed successfully for preparation. I guess one of the steps went bad, which affected the rest.

What I suggest is to uninstall all requirements first, then install them again in the right order, with restarting the computer if required. SDK installation process might get little tricky, but unfortunately, there is no easy way for that.

Please let us know how re-installation went.

Similar problems here. I checked that everything is correctly installed. Only the Symbian SDK is installed to a dif path: D:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd_MR. But i set up the path variable and EPOCROOT accordingly. The Compiler gets stuck:

Please advice. Also the provided test sis files at the KuneriLite web pages don't install on my Nokia E65: problem with certificate

Hi prok,

Welcome!

One of the requirements about KuneriLite Wizard is that it has to be installed at the same directory with SDK. It's a limitation, but mostly SDK related. It's also mentioned before you install KuneriLite Wizard;

Quote
If you have a previous S60 SDK installation on your system, please install KuneriLite to the same drive as the SDK.

About SIS files;

Is your E65 allows unsigned applications? If not please allow from Application Manage->Settings->Software Installation->All. Otherwise it can be file corruption, but we haven't got any complaints about that yet.

Please let us know.

Thanks for the fast reply. Reinstalling kuneriLite to the same drive (D:) as the SDK helped. Also the right configuration helped for installing unsigned SIS. Very cool demo content!

Yeah, installation in the same folder solved my problem as well, thanks.
