Hi

I am currently developing a Step Counter application using flashlite, kunerilite, and its plugins. The application must have the following functionalities:count the steps, measure distance traveled(km),time. So far the time and distance are working but i dont have any idea how to go about the step counting functionality.I am using GPS,ACCELEROMETER, and TIMER plugins from kunerilite.
Please help me out Huh

Thanx in advance.

Nokia Step counter uses accelerometer :
http://betalabs.nokia.com/blog/2008/05/09/nokia-step-counter-beta-launched-track-how-much-you-walk-or-run-during-the-day

What if you test and experiment how it works, I hope that I will give a clue?

Hi KL ADMIN

Thanx for ur reply. And yes i have checked Nokia's Step counter on http://betalabs.nokia.com/betas/view/nokia-step-counter
and it doesn't give any hint on how to use the output from the accelerometer x,y,z coordinates.I have read a blog http://www.krizka.net/2009/04/10/counting-steps-with-the-ipod-accelerometer/ and it gives some hints. But kunerilite accelerometer mentions that 1G=64 ,how do i manipulate this?Am really confused here. Undecided

Thanx
