Hi all!

I'm experiencing a really strange problem with a signed SIS created with KuneriLite (just the launcher without plugins). Basically it's a single swf file which load n images using MovieClipLoader class.

All is working fine on almost all phones but for specific firmware versions (experienced on some 5530 & 5800) the loading process complete without errors but images are not displayed. BUT the app works correctly if I launch the same file from the media gallery. I thought it was a folder or signing issue but it's the same using an open signed sis and/or the "Trusted" folder.

Did you experienced something similar before?
Any help will be really appreciated. Smiley

Thanks,
-Leo

Hello,
I know that launching SWF without stub (i.e. using CDocumentHandler method instead of Nokia's flash3ui.dll) fails in loading images. Doesn't seem to be your case because, but please check that you have "static content" selection unset in first page of KL Wizard UI.

I think this is a bug in some Nokia firmware, i.e. somehow defective flash3ui.dll

Hello,

Thanks for your reply!

Static content is unset for my project. What is the difference? "Static content" uses CDocumentHandler and non-static uses stub?

thanks,

Hi,

exactly so, with also difference that "static content" doesn't use any capabilities.

Cheers

I was having this problem as well, where images would not load properly. I tried a million things, and finally tried changing the plugins selected before I compiled and it somehow fixed this issue! Very strange. It stayed fixed even when compiling again with the original plugins selected...

Hi Madmax,

Thanks for the info. The strange thing is that I'm not using any plugin... Did you experience the issue only with some specific firmware versions?

No, saw it with multiple firmwares, also saw it when tested on Remote Device Access w/ a N97 there. I was doing this with a commercial version of KL, compiling with a certificate/key and using GPS, Camera, and UL/DL plugins. When I added File, Protect, System and recompiled, the images loading problem resolved itself. Then I unchecked those plugins and compiled again and it was still fixed. So a mystery. And yes, I did NOT have static content checked.

Now if I can only get Express Signed online to work! Worked before, but seems to be on the blink tonight...or else something wrong with my submission package Sad
