Download timeout

Hi all,
Is there a timeout for KL download? May be this's just a system failure because of frequent reinstallations or connection reasons, but I've got a phone hangs several times during a downloading. Last time it hanged for about 2 hours with full accumulator discharge.

Hi,
no, there is no timeout for downloading, that must be handled in scripting side.
hmm.. currently I don't have more experiences of constant hanging.
Can u specify the phone model and firmware?
For instance, our E70 with its current firmware, does not stand any
network connection long..
Can you specify also the size of downloaded file?
Thanks,

Hi again,
Nokia N95, v 12.0.013 (latest), FL 2.0 preinstalled. The size of downloaded files 2...32Kb - no any regularity. This trouble appeares most often (but not every time) when Flash is closed but the download is proceeding in the hidden mode. ... or on the stage of connecting to external server. So, it would be good to make it safe from the endless processes there, IMHO. ... may be as an optional argument?

Thanks Alex,
Surely the timeout would be needed when player is closed. When no data is received after predefined time, then transfer would be cleared. Still, the timeout is not perfect solution, because mobile connections use delay the transfer easily and defining proper timeout is quite tough.
I've take these into todo-list and check the functionality in cases you mentioned.
cheers
